    Nice place with great amenities like free wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and a fitness center. The staff even helped me with taxi tips on my first stay! I'll be back for the new year.

    Totally special stay on a business trip. Clean place with extremely helpful and attentive staff members and sunrise views. Exceptionally nice and ideal location and great facilities. Comfortable bed in the study, plus luggage storage and climate control...

    Clean, great value hotel, marvellous and handy location near to shopping mall. Location not far from the tram / bus station, different cafes, and Parliament House. A wide array of food options not too far away from the venue. The rooftop restaurant for dinner.

    Breakfast was ok, iron and hairdryer both worked.

    The facilities were run down though the Rex is undergoing renovations. They seemed out of step with many other hotels I have used- they do not offer to leave towels unless new ones are collected. There did not appear to be a eco friendly/sustainability approach. Also, the shower heads are low if you are tall. It was expensive for the facilities offered.

    Location

    Room service finished at 9pm. Room was very tired - no chair and no easy access to powerpoints for PC use - had to move bed. No electric blankets.No fresh fruit at breakfast.

    Friendly staff and location

    Mis communication between Rex & Booked.net as when I arrived there they have cancelled my booking instead of my collegue for whom they charged no show charges. Internet connection was not good

    The breakfast was delightful and a good variety of choices. The Manager was very attentive, helpful and most courteous. The bed was comfortable but a bit tired looking and with an awful view. No warning was given about the possibility of frost on the car windshield in the morning and not having covered parking made it a chore to remove and get on my way.
